Transportation plan
Figure out how you'll get there and home before the day of the visit.
If sedation, contrast dye, or anesthesia is used, arrange a driver — you may not be cleared to drive.
For long scans (MRI, CT), wear comfortable, metal-free clothing.
Bring something to read or listen to if there may be a wait.
